People are always trying to duplicate and copy us. But to no avail, miss the mark! Based on our experience we have tried other dough balls in the U.S. and from Europe. Just because dough balls are imported doesn't mean it is a slam dunk. In Belgium trust me when I say this. That there are many mediocre waffles out there that are purely commercial and cut corners.
How do you tell a Great Waffle? Have it plain, with NOTHING
on it! Try that first. Why??? to discern and Authenticate on your palate that the texture is consistent, not dry and not over buttery, is the pearl high quality and is it actually real, or just replicated from overseas companies now that there is a new market for it in the U.S. Seemingly, companies and newcomers in my business want to cut costs, cut corners for more profit.
